The author, a local historian and local government official, knew many of the guerrillas. Francisco Salazar was the alias of Capt. Vicente T. Cubero, first guerrilla leader in Bohol who established his headquarters in a secret location known as “Above the Clouds.â€Â Brave to the point of being reckless, Capt.
