Francis Jason III Perez commented on 08/12/2016: This is the ivory image of the Nuestra SeÃ±ora del SantÃsimo Rosario - La Naval de Manila which is the gift of the Governor and Captain General Don LuÃs PÃ©rez DasmariÃ±as in 1593 and was made by a pagan Chinese sculptor under the direction of Captain HernÃ¡ndo de los Rios Coronel. This is the same image that was given the Canonical Coronation. The wooden image brought from Spain by the Dominicans is another image and was destroyed during the last World War.
