500 _aAsilo Embroidery. Erlinda Talavera is one of the Asilo's best embroiderers, judging from the quality of her work on the baptismal gown which she was been occupied for a couple of month. She has become highly skilled after more than two years of stay at the Asilo. Normally, an inmate stays in the asilo for three years, after which time a job is sought for her by the nuns. If bright and promising, she is sent to the San Jose College in in Jaro, also run by Daughters of Charity.
