245 _aBalanga Church
500 _aThe church of Balanga, the capital of the province of Bataan. The town was established as a mission of the Dominican Order in 1714 and was later declared a vicariate under the patronage of Saint Joseph on April 18, 1739. The word Balanga originated from the Tagalog word "bañga" (clay pot), which the town used to produce and was said to be among the best in the country.
