500 _aFormerly the Butuan Parrochial School, it is now called Urios College, after Saturninus Urios (1871-1901), a Jesuit, who succeeded in converting to Christianity the Manobos and other tribes, especially in the southern portion of Agusan which is more difficult to penetrate. He was known as the "Apostle of Agusan." Young Butuanons pursue their education in this coeducational institution. The school is run by Dutch fathers of the Sacred Heart Missionary.
