The second son of jurist Greogrio Araneta and his wife Carmen, at age 17. Salvador became a lawyer and was appointed to sensitive government positions by Presidents Roxas, Quirino, and Magsaysay. He was a member of the Constitutional Conventions of 1935 and 1971.
