Hunt winds up this monograph with a discussion of tank operations in the mountains of Luzon. Hunt focuses his narrative on the operations of the 754th Tank Battalion, of which he apparently belonged to; the experience of this battalion, to him, as typical of the experience of other tank battalions in Luzon. Criticizes the breakup of the 754th Tank Battalion: in February two companies of the battalion were in Manila, one was in Bataan and the last was still in the Clark-Stotsenburg area. When the war ended in September 1945, the battalion was still split: one company was in Legaspi, two were in Panay and one was in Aparri.
