N1  - A print advertisement of the rum distillery on Estero de la Quinta (Quiapo) established by the industrialist Domingo Roxas in 1834. After his death, the Roxas family, now led by a new partner, Antonio Ayala, expanded and opened branches in Pampanga and Capiz. In 1924 the distillery was sold to Carlos Palanca and renamed La Tondeña
