N1  - A lawyer from Tanauan, Batangas, Pastor was the municipal secretary in 1901 and clerk of the Batangas Court of First Instance the following year.  Later he was a major player in the Comite del Partido Federal that was established in the province. During the Revolution he was municipal treasurer of Tanauan and then intendente general in General Malvar''s forces which operated in Batangas.
