N1  - Photo shows the birthplace of the revolutionary leader from Matimbo in Malolos, Bulacan.    He joined the Katipunan in 1892 and was known under the nom de Guerra “Matanglawin”. Having figured heroically in the crucial battles of Bagbag Bridge, Kalumpit, San Rafael and Binakod from 1896 to 1898, he was promoted in rapid succession until he assumed the rank of Brigadier General in Biak-na-Bato. He also became a member of the Malolos Congress in 1898.
