Santo Domingo Church sacristy
Type:

The sacristy of Sto. Domingo Church. Photo-engraving. The Manila Times. Second Annual Edition. 1911. The sacristy was as ornate as the other rooms of the church. Chests of camagon stood at some corners of the room. In the reliquary and niches were relics of Dominican martyrs of Japan. A huge crucifix was by the crowned door of the stairs that led out of the sacristy. At the center stood a two-foot table of rare Philippine wood. To lend a grander dimension to what was otherwise a grey-lit room, immense mirrors were hanged on every side. (also see CH01302)Image type: Reproduction: PhotographMedia format: With prints
