A lithograph of the Malolos Cathedral and convent; inset are the photos of its past parish priests. In 1580, the Augustinians accepted Malolos as a house of the Order and was placed under the advocation of Our Lady of the Immaculate Concepcion. President Emilio Aguinaldo held office at the parish convent after he made Malolos the seat of the first Philippine Republic in 1898. (Source: Angels in Stone, Fr.
