The first part of the book is a chronology (“almanacâ€Â in this book) of Philippine history from 1936 and World War II (including Europe; 1944 and 1945 focusing more on activities in Northern Luzon). Unfortunately the compilers (all World War II veterans) did not write about their own experiences.
This volume was published separately from the six-volume series published by the Veterans Federation of the Philippines, hence repetition of the USAFIP NL documents. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
