Photo shows a watercolor drawing of a Filipina dressed in the fashion of 1915. The camisa and pañuelo are embroidered to match a floral skirt that is cut at the lower portion and sewn together following a zigzag pattern(Rio de Pasig). A black tapis or imported lace covers the lower torso and enhances the flaring bottom of the skirt. By this time , the tapis had already assumed the western name sobrefalda.
