Photo shows the company building on Muelle de la Industria, Manila. Elizalde and Co., Inc. is a commercial house which resulted from the partnership of Joaquin Elizalde and Joaquin Ynchausti in 1854. It has pioneered in the promotion of industries and commerce and its products were consumed not only throughout the Philippines but in many countries abroad. Its principal subsidiaries include the Manila Steamship Co., Inc., Tanduay Distillery, Elizalde Paint and Oil Factory, Inc. and Elizalde Rope Factory, Inc.
