Feriantes
Type:

The feriantes are our local version of the gypsies of Romany. This community of some thirty families keep roaming all over cities and provinces, never staying for more than six weeks in one place. We see them during fiestas, at carnivals and fairs, where they set up their booths laden with various products for sale, such as silver and glassware, crockery, garments, etc. They also provide amusement through games, the most famous of which was the "wheel of fortune"Image type: ReproductionMedia format: With negative
