General note (See Original Caption. See also the CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art, Vol, IV, 200, for description of lost-wax method.) The T'boli believe that their metalwork is a gift from their god Ginton. Since they are not known to mine thier own metals, they use scraps from coins, springs of trucks, and other sources for their metalware.
