| Notes | Basket weaving is one of the Ibaloy arts and crafts. It is done by men. These two women carry on their backs a kayabang, a trapezoidal basket of woven bamboo or rattan. By means of a rope inserted into holes near the opening, the basket is strapped against the forehead and suspended at the back. The kayabang is the symbol for Benguet (CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art, Vol. l, 266). |
