Gold ornaments with rich surface decoration are shown in the photo. From left to right: a) a tiny ,oblong bead found in Leyte;b) a ring from Laguna; c) a type of gold foil earplug,pointed at the tip and flared at the other end, also from Laguna; d) cylindrical earplug; e) a similarly shaped bead with honecomb design, from Leyte. When the Spaniards came to the Philippines, they found the natives wearing many such gols ornaments.
