Vol. 2, Intelligence series - Documentary Appendices (I): This volume presents the remaining seventeen documentary appendices to the study on Philippine intelligence activities. Among these are the development of contacts with American Prisoners of War in the Philippines, various intelligence reports; reports of Col. Narciso L. Manzano, Maj. Emigdio C. Cruz, Maj. Edwin Ramsey; a history of the Military Intelligence Service in the Philippines; excerpts from captured and translated Japanese reports relating to Philippine counter-intelligence operations. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose Part of Gen. Willoughby’s "Intelligence Series," Vol. II focused on intelligence activities in the Philippines, identifying key individuals and groups, and chronicling submarine penetration missions. The documentary appendices to this volume were split into two parts. This part (which was bound with the main volume) includes the first thirteen documentary appendices, covering funds sent to guerrillas, totals of guerrilla messages sent and received, submarine shipments to the Philippines and tonnage of supplies, directives to several penetration missions, Maj.
