Personal recollections of a British boy (just over three years old at the start of the war) who was interned in Santo Tomas with his mother and brother.

The author’s father was a British soldier in Hong Kong; Mrs. Colquhoun and the children proceeded to the Philippines hoping to escape the war, but got caught in it nevertheless.

Illustrated with greeting cards and drawings made by him and his brother while internees (some reproduced in color). An insert (printout of a web site) provides further information on the author, his family and relatives. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
