Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo: Las Virgenes Cristianas expuestas al populacho. 1884.

Christian virgins exposed to the populace. Hidalgo received the silver medal in the Madrid Exposition of 1884 for this painting. The subject springs from the persecution of Christians in Rome.
