Ricardo Gloria: A rich Manila resident, 1872.

Artist Ricardo Gloria made a series of water color drawings of some 50 Philippine costumes of the late 19th century. At present (1973) only 24 have remained;others were burned during the Second World War. Artist-art critic s Arturo Luz, Emilio Aguilar Cruz and Rodolfo Ragodon believed that Gloria made the drawings some time during the early decades of the 1900s
