These kites were entered in the pasikatan--aerobatics, or aerial manuever--category. Contestants were divided into two groups: those ages ranges from 8-13; and those from 14-19. Contestants performed 3 basic manuevers within a specified time litmit--the horizontal manuever to the right , to the left and the figure ''8''.
