Our Lady of Turumba

Our Lady of Turumba Ayala Museum Research Team

Commonly known as Our Lady of Turumba, because every year, on the third day after Easter, townspeople honor her with seven consecutive novenas. This oil painting on tin was allegdely seen floating on the waters of Laguna de bay in 1640. Fishermen caught it and it was eventually enshrined in the church.
