Bagobo natives

The Spaniards are said to have marvelled at the Bagobos' ceremonial garb. The women wear a tube skirt topped by a blouse. Jewelry is worn during feasts and religious ceremonies. The men wear shorts of tinalak cloth with horizontal bands at the hem, a wide belt with brass or copper chains and a second belt to hold their weapons, and a tinalak coat( CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art, Vol. ll, 90).
