Jolo

Jolo

From a ship''s porthole, Jolo is a panorama of huddled tin roofs, houses on water, sandy beaches and forested mountains. The traveler is attracted by the skyline - Mount Tumantangis almost hugging the clouds. According to history, one of the bloodiest battles fought in Jolo was held in Tumantangis, where now dead warriors, including Datu Tahil, fought against the Americans.
