Hospicio de San Jose is a hospice for "the old and the orphaned" erected in 1785 in Pandacan, Manila. In 1895, an islet on the Pasig, located at the foot of the Ayala Bridge, was ceded to the hospice by the San Juan de Dios Hospital, which became the permanent home of its patients.
